Donald Diehl III

Assistant Chief Flight Instructor, CFI-A, CFI-H, CFII-H

 

Donald is a dually rated CFI in both airplanes and helicopters. He is married with three boys and is retired from law enforcement. Don spent 16 years of service in a combination of the United States Marine Corps and the Maryland Army National Guard. While serving the Maryland National Guard, Don was commissioned to Second Lieutenant and assigned to Army Helicopter Flight School.

Don has flown numerous helicopter airframes to include Bell 206, UH1 and the all impressive UG-60 Blackhawk. He is a graduate of the CCBC program and has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Baltimore. He currently instructs at the Middle River Flight Center specializing in Robinson Helicopters and single engine airplanes.
