Matt was introduced to piloting at 16 years old in 2009 at the Frederick Flight Center when he did an introduction flight. As a result, he was sold from then on out. 

Two years later, Matt joined the military, serving for the next four years as a jet mechanic. He proceeded to earn his ratings and in 2018, he started to work at the Frederick. Matt enjoys transferring his knowledge and experience of helicopter piloting, along with sharing in its unique versatility. 

Matt said there’s no other experience like flying a helicopter and looks forward to continuing his time as an instructor.
