The Elite iGate 502 simulator is a full cockpit FAA certified Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD). An AATD allows you to stay instrument current and log time towards ratings.

An AATD can be used for:

  • Up to 5 hours towards your private pilot’s license (§61.109 k)

  • Up to 20 hours towards your instrument rating (§61.65 i)

  • Up to 50 hours towards your commercial pilot’s license (§61.129 i)

  • Up to 25 hours towards your Airline Transport Pilot’s License

The simulator hardware can be switched out to simulate many airplanes with many combinations of avionics including:

  • Cessna 172

  • Piper Archer

  • Piper Arrow

You can also link your iPad with ForeFlight to the simulator and your position would show on the ForeFlight map.
