Tailwheel Endorsement

Course Prerequisites

Training Curriculum

At the end of the course, your instructor will sign the tailwheel endorsement in your logbook which from then on allows you to act as pilot-in-command of a tailwheel aircraft. Every student requires a different amount of time in the aircraft, but a tailwheel endorsement is generally achieved within 5-10 hours.

Throughout your training you will cover a minimum of:

  • Three-point landings

  • Wheel landings

  • Normal and cross wind landing technique

  • Go-around procedures

Note: max weight to fly our tailwheel aircraft is 220lbs
